How does this work exactly?
If you're asking this question, please make sure to go back to the homepage and read the "HOW IT WORKS" section. In short, you will send us the case information, we place your case with an attorney, the attorney drafts the letter and sends it back to LetterDash, LetterDash reviews the letter and sends it to you for your review and approval. Once approved, it's sent out.

Will the recipient know I used LetterDash?
No.

Do I review the draft before it's sent out?
Yes. You will approve the final draft in writing before it's sent.

How long will it take for my letter to be sent out?
That depends on if you rush the drafting service, how quickly you approve the letter, how many revisions are requested etc. Best case scenario: You purchase the 24 hour rush service and approve it the day you receive the draft from the attorney. The letter would most likely best sent out the same or next day. There are several rush options so it's even possible to have a letter drafted and sent out the same day, it just depends on what your needs are. If no rush is selected, it may take 5-7 business days or more.

How are the letters sent out? What is the shipping method?
USPS, flat envelope, certified, signature required. The package is very high quality and has a "Big Firm" feel. If you wish to customize the shipping method, let us know directly after approving your letter.

Can I have the letter sent to more than one party?
Yes, after you approve your letter, you will have the opportunity to add additional recipients.

Will I receive a copy of the letter?
Yes, electronically. You can request a hardcopy be sent to you.

Will I receive a tracking #?
Yes. You will receive a tracking # automatically via our system.

Will I be notified when the recipient receives the letter?
Not by us. You will need to keep an eye on tracking as we do not notify clients when the letter is received. You can also setup automated alerts at USPS.

Was there a response to my letter yet?
We forward all replies automatically. If you haven't heard from us, there has been no response.

What if the recipient responds to the letter? Who do they respond to?
All replies are directed to the attorney. The attorneys send LetterDash all responses and LetterDash will send you the same.

What happens if there's no response?
If there's no response to your letter, please email customer service: customerservice@letterdash.com

What happens when it's time to negotiate?
The attorney of record and LetterDash will provide you with contingency based settlement options. You pay nothing unless the attorney gets you an acceptable settlement.

Do you only handle demand letters?
No. Although our company started as a demand letter service, we now handle most legal letters including financial opinion letters, 401k letters, merchant opinion letters, investment letters, etc.
